CD Review:

Favorite songs: Cut You to Pieces, Dead Girls are Easy
Splatter Generation features songs that have horroresque titles. Some of these include Cemetery Man, Dead Girls are Easy, The New York Ripper and 7 Doors of Death. Overall, Murderock has a very tight and heavy sound. Each song has its own flavor (rock, punk, etc) which in itself brings a special unique atmosphere to Splatter Generation. Freddie’s vocals on top of hard hitting drums and guitar will leave you wanting more and more….and then more after that.
This horror album makes great use of sound effects such as chainsaws and ticking clocks to bring their message to light.  It’s a fun tribute to the horror genre.  I could see various horror movies in my mind as I was listening to Splatter Generation.
I recommend this album to anyone who enjoys hard and heavy rock and metal, but also the horror movie genre.
